SWEOS has set goals to provide community services to Somali community in UK specially women, children and young adults in different ages and abilities. We aim to:-

  • Provide skills and education to help them overcome communication barriers and long term isolation.
  •  
  • Give information advice and guidance to our clients in English and Somali language through networks and face to face.
    • Provide safeguarding and FGM and domestic abuse awareness, prevention advice and support services
    •  
  • Promote active participation and partnership work with other agencies and organizations.

 

VISION

 In collaboration with public health partners, NHS and other groups and organisations our vision is to improve the health and wellness skills of Somali women, children and young adults around UK. By working and creating a system of access to compassionate, culturally sensitive and preventive health care resulting active participation, healthier population and improved quality of life.

Mission

Our mission is to improve health and wellbeing of Somali women in different ages and abilities in UK by providing accessible support, culturally component community based primary, rehabilitative and communicative health care and social inclusion. End FGM, forced marriage domestic abuse and support safeguarding is our main focus.
